... As a matter of fact, I have been in a relationship for the past 3 years and we are still going strong. Yes... as you read it. I am in a relationship with my work. Oh yes! I love my work more than anything! I am a workaholic and I am not afraid to admit it. I wake up every morning with the idea of going to work and that makes me happy. I get to work and I enjoy doing things and telling people what to do. When I finish my shift I feel sad because I feel I leave a part of me in the office when I leave. I get home and I think about work and I miss it. Even though I have my own life afterwards, I still miss it. On the weekends... I miss it the most! because I feel that something is missing during my day! jajajaja... Yes I DO love my job. My job is my BF jajaja and it is a good relationship that is going strong every day. No... hablando en serio, I do love it. I think that this job was the best thing that could have happened to me. I get to work with amazing people and I've learned everything I am from extraordinary people. I have a team of students that don't cease to amaze me every single day. Each of them are so talented and they blow my mind every single day. I admire each of them, with their virtues and defects... the fun thing is to work with them and their different personalities. I love them to death! even though sometimes I'm hard on them... but 'Im hard on them because I know they can handle whatever I throw at them... and because I know that whatever I throw at them will make them be better in life and in everything. Love ya guys!
Also, I need to mention about my supervisors and co-workers. I'm fortunate to be working with a team of great people. People that have passion for the channel and that are willing to leave their hearts on the table for the sake of the station. Thanks for being examples for me and let me be part of your team.
A special shout out to Thomas, who was my supervisor when I was a student and now is my colleague. Everything I am, professionally, is because of him. He is my mentor and my example. I am the kind of supervisor I am because of him. Thanks Thomas for teach me everything you know, for let me be me, for put up with me, and for give me the opportunity to prove you what I was capable of doing. Thanks for trust me! and for everything!
Sometimes I wish I could work there forever! but someday I'll have to leave to work on bigger things in my life... but I will always have a special place for this job.
Things Im grateful
1) For amazing supervisors, co-workers, and students.
2) For having the opportunity to work where Im working. I never served a full-time mission (which I always wanted) but I think Im doing my part through my work.
